The acclaimed musicians of the Doric String Quartet will bring their growing reputation and considerable classical chops to Linlithgow next week.

Playing the Academy Theatre on Saturday, February 15, the fantastic four, featuring three violinists and one cellist, will interpret compositions by Beethoven, Haydn and Janacek.

Described as the perfect match of “colour and phrasing”, the quartet’s live performances around the world have received glowing praise from critics and fans alike and their recordings of Schubert’s greatest hits have won several awards. The night in Linlithgow precedes the group’s tours of the USA and New Zealand later this year.

The concert starts at 7.30 p.m.
