Activities include a model making and animation session, where children can create their own answer to Wallace and Gromit.
Music is a major part of the Tolbooth, located in the city’s Jail Wynd, and two of the workshops on offer allow would-be Foo Fighters to start up their own band and get to grips with a real recording studio.
Kenny Bates, Tolbooth music development officer, said: “Summer holidays are some of the most memorable times growing up - always full of fun, freedom and adventure with friends.
“That’s exactly what we have on offer at the Tolbooth with a wide range of brilliant creative activities to help you discover a new hobby, build your skills in art and music, and make some new friends in the process.”
The summer workshops run from July 7 to August 13 and are open to ages six and up.
