Celtic music legends Phil and Aly come to Falkirk Town Hall

IF you can’t wait until Hogmanay to see Celtic music legends Phil Cunningham and Aly Bain on TV you can see the duo in the flesh and in Falkirk.

The pair will play Falkirk Town Hall on Thursday, August 2.

Phil and Aly have been playing together since 1996 and are two of the most respected folk artists on the circuit. They have become the mainstay of BBC TV’s annual ‘Hogmanay Show’ which reaches a worldwide audience, and have performed at major occasions in Scotland - including the opening of the devolved Scottish Parliament in 1999 and later the funeral of First Minister, Donald Dewar.

Both have impressive backgrounds with Phil’s composing appearing in films and television shows and Aly being awarded a MBE for his services to music.
