What’s in the trunk?

Trunk is an interactive performance created for young children telling the tale of a a large travelling trunk.

As each object appears or new sound is heard from inside the trunk, the children become participants in an exciting adventure which sees them go on a train journey, enjoy a day on the beach and explore the wonders of a fast flowing river till they complete their journey underneath the stars.

The show was created by Julia McGhee, who grew up in Falkirk, and it has toured to over 40 nurseries and primary schools She works on a variety of dance projects as a performer, teacher and choreographer and is particularly excited to bring her show to the children of Falkirk.

She said: “Coming to the Stirling Fringe is a fantastic opportunity for me to showcase Trunk in the Central Belt and share it with young audiences in my home town.

Tickets for “Trunk” at the Stirling Fringe Festival on Saturday 26th September at 2pm are available online at www.stirlingfringe.com and it is also available for touring to nurseries and primary schools in the Falkirk area in early October.
