There’s lots to do at the Peak where you can burn the calories without noticing

WHAT IS IN IT? Plenty. If you fancy a wee trek to neighbouring Stirling, there’s a range of facilities to keep your adventurous side happy. There’s a 12-metre-high climbing wall, a cool ice rink, a sports hall, and fitness and dance studios. There are also outdoor pitches which host school football and rugby tournaments and even birthday parties. The football areas can be used for 11 or seven-a-side footie and suitable sets of goals are provided. There’s also a gym with up-to-date gym equipment.

HOW LONG DO YOU GET INSIDE? As long as you need as it’s open seven days a week. All facilities are open from 6 a.m until 10 p.m. Monday to Friday, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Sunday.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST? Swimming prices start at £3, and ice skating from £3.75. You can also opt to go more often and take out a monthly membership.

ANYTHING ELSE? Classes include swimming and skating lessons (especially for under 5s), and gym classes. There’s also a cafe.

WHEN IS IT OPEN? The Peak is open all year round.
