More than 130 youngsters danced the night away at the first ever Bo’ness Academy Dance Showcase.
The successful event was the result of a year of hard-work both during classtime and at extra-curricular activities where pupils learnt, practiced and perfected their steps, making them ready for the school’s first ever show consisting 100 per cent of dance routines.
From P7 children from all schools in Bo’ness to S6 pupils, all took to the stage to show off a wide range of dances, including jazz, hip hop, cheerleading, contemporary and much more.
Organiser Caroline McIntyre said: “The night was fantastic, the children really pulled it out the bag and put on a great show.”
With the success of the show Caroline has plans to make it an annual event on the calender. She said: “The kids are already learning new routines for next year.”
