Online radio invite for Falkirk bands and singers

A call is going out to Falkirk bands and musicians to come along and rock out online for an up and coming internet radio station.

Stirling City Radio, which is based in the city’s Arcade in King Street, want groups and solo artists to play on its Live Lounge sessions.

The station, which started in August 2016 and now reportedly averages 12,000 listeners per month around the world, broadcasts live shows created and presented by volunteers from 9am to 10pm seven-days-a-week.

A Stirling City Radio spokesperson said: “Our service is supported almost wholly by the local community, and we aim to encourage local participation at every turn.” Playing a wide variety of music, from the latest hits to rock’n’roll classics, the station also has a show dedicated to unsigned artists – so anyone looking for an opportunity to promote their music and get it out to the public should get in touch.
