The talented thespians of Young Portonian Theatre Company had to wait over a year to wait to hit the stage again but their new production of Hansel and Gretel more than made up for lost time – as photographer Michael Gillen’s pictures clearly show.

There was singing, dancing and comedy capers throughout the colourful two and bit hour entertainment fest and the young performers enjoyed the show as much, if not more, than the packed audience watching it.
