After spending Halloween in lockdown last year, Falkirk is making sure it’s a night to remember with a host of nightmarish night-time activities and events to keep you entertained.

Looking for a guide on how to spend the scariest weekend of the year? Look no further as Falkirk Delivers has pulled together a guide for all your spooky Halloween needs – with everything from gifts and costumes to parties and events.

Friday 29th October

Friday night kicks off Halloween weekend with a Dia De Los Muertos at the Tolbooth Tavern. Join in the fun with fancy dress where they are celebrating the day of the dead… but it doesn’t end there. The Tolbooth are extending the party through to Saturday and Sunday nights as well!

Don’t want to party to end there? Head along to the Maniqui Falkirk to experience their Halloween Party. This is the first Halloween event under current management, with the musical stylings of DJ Liam McEwan hitting the decks. The Maniqui is free entry before 10pm, with charges applying after then.

Saturday 30th October

Saturday night sees the long awaited return of Sportsters Falkirk to Falkirk’s nightlife as they re-open with Fright Night! This ticketed event will feature music from spooky DJ Gus – and with the venue securing a late license, you can party till the wee hours!

Looking to get started earlier? Pop along to The Wheatsheaf to take part in their Halloween Costume Party with a prize for the best dressed.

Head along The Jolly on Saturday night for a spooky Halloween party. Put your best costume on and go enjoy some delicious seasonal cocktails including a Pumpkin Spiced White Russian.

Or visit Behind the Wall for a Big BTW Halloween Bash with free attendance and fancy dress optional, but DJ Donna Wallace will have prizes for the most outrageous costumes – and round the corner at High Spirits there will be live music, with fancy dress encouraged!

Sunday 31st October

What better way to round of the weekend with a trip out on Sunday? Visit Cheerz Bar on the high street to take part in their Halloween shenanigans, with a costume party and a special prize – they’re even keeping the party running the next day for all those weekend workers in the Monday club!

Or else head along to Rialto Falkirk for the big event. Kicking off at 6:30pm, pop round for live music stylings from Moonrunners, Frog Fountain, Faltics and Sam Main & Band. Tickets are £7 on the door, but only £5 if you’ve got a costume!

Falkirk is also playing host to other Halloween events including haunted walks through the town centre, potion making at the Lonely Broomstick (subject to availability) and Halloween quizzes at Sportsters and The Jolly – keep your eye on Falkirk Delivers socials and via their Halloween Guide for more info in the run up to the big weekend.
