Falkirk band Primes release new single to help us beat COVID-19 blues
and live on Freeview channel 276
Entitled Moment, the new single from the Falkirk three-piece is about looking forward and being positive – something we could all do with being reminded about at this time.
And Primes, Ollie Kitchen (vocals/bass), Sarah Monteith-Skelton (guitar/vocals) and Reece Ryan (drums/vocals), certainly have had to work hard to still see the glass is half full and not half empty – last year they were rocking out in front of hundreds of fans at the Vibration Festival and Party at the Palace, playing songs like Don’t Forget Your Memories, Breathe, Together Forever, Haunted and Bodies.

Hide AdNow, like all musicians, they are having to find new ways to engage with their audience as lockdown puts an end to live gigs for the time being.
Moment, which was recorded, mixed and mastered by Mark Morrow Audio, is available from today from Spotify, iTunes, You Tube, Soundcloud, Google Play, Amazon Music, Deezer and other major downloading and streaming platforms.
Guitarist Sarah said: “Moment is a song about being able to capture life, embracing it when you can and living for now. It’s about leaving the past where it belongs, looking forward positively and just enjoying life in the moment.
“It’s not just another rock track – it’s a nod to the future filled with optimism in times of despair and leaves you feeling as though anything is possible.”
