More than a million lights are set to sparkle on this mile-long outdoor twilight trail, featuring 15 dazzling displays, including the ever popular Christmas Cathedral, at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, on 32 selected nights, from November 25 to January 2.

The Botanics will be more than jolly and bright with the grounds transformed into a winter wonderland.
Digital Rain, Fireflies in the Woods and a cascading Sea of Light finale are amongst new installations to be revealed.
An immersive installation by Bespoke Lighting and Video, Digital Rain features LED pixels that ‘rain down’ on those below to create a shimmering shower of light.
Fireflies in the Woods is an enchanting work from Electric Foundry, containing 100 points of light that twist through the trees to create a magical woodland wonderland.
Sea of Light, from award-winning ITHACA, will bring an enthralling mix of sound and light technology, that flows across the landscape in spectacular, glittering waves.
Christmas at the Botanics, in partnership with the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, is one of 15 illuminated trails staged across the UK by Sony Music. The trail is created by Culture Creative.
To meet current Scottish Government guidelines, reduced capacities and a one-way system will be in place. Health and safety measures, to protect visitors, will be monitored throughout the run.
Booking early is recommended as a timed entry system will remain this year, with popular early evenings and weekends likely to sell out.
