2021 line up revealed for Linlithgow's Party at the Palace
The 2020 event may have fallen victim of the Covid-19 pandemic, but organisers of Party at the Palace are planning to make up for it in a big way next year.
The line up for the popular two day festival in Linlithgow has been revealed, including some acts who should have been playing this summer.
Manic Street Preachers, Del Amitri, The Snuts, Hue and Cry and Sophie Ellis-Bextor are just some of the names to take the stage in 2021.
Kyle Falconer, The Silencers, Callum Beattie, Peat & Diesel and The Brand New Heavies are also on the bill.
Peter Ferguson, event director, added: “We were so disappointed that we were not able to get the event on this year, however we are determined to come back bigger and better in 2021.”
The 2021 Party at the Palace will take place on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8.
The festival on the banks of Linlithgow Loch, which has been running for several years, is a family friendly event, drawing in crowds from across central Scotland.
Organisers say it will once again feature kids activities, market stalls, a silent disco and fairground rides, as well as a selection of food and drink outlets.
Earlier this year when the 2020 festival was cancelled, organisers had given those who had bought early bird tickets the option to automatically transfer their ticket to next year’s event.
