Welsh rock legends Manic Street Preachers will headline the 2021 Party at the Palace in Linlithgow.

Peter Ferguson, event director, added: “We were so disappointed that we were not able to get the event on this year, however we are determined to come back bigger and better in 2021.”

The 2021 Party at the Palace will take place on Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8.

The festival on the banks of Linlithgow Loch, which has been running for several years, is a family friendly event, drawing in crowds from across central Scotland.

Organisers say it will once again feature kids activities, market stalls, a silent disco and fairground rides, as well as a selection of food and drink outlets.

Del Amitri will headline on the Sunday.

Earlier this year when the 2020 festival was cancelled, organisers had given those who had bought early bird tickets the option to automatically transfer their ticket to next year’s event.

Sophie Ellis-Bexter will perform on the Saturday.
