It proved a good weekend for sport in Falkirk.
East Stirlingshire netted their first points of the season, seeing off Stirling Albion 3-1 while Stenhousemuir also returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win at Alloa.
Falkirk drew 1-1 and Camelon came from behind to win against Musselburgh.
Dunipace also managed a 1-0 victory on the road, at Shettleston.
The Shire have had a frustrating time so far this season, but were aided by Scott Davidson’s sending off for Albion and Scott Maxwell, David Greenhill and Nathan Shepherd hit the goals in the second half for the club’s first league win of the season.
Brown Ferguson sealed victory for the Warriors in a tricky trip to Alloa adding to Darren Smith’s opener Lyle Taylor gave Falkirk a perfect start at Hamilton but his strike was cancelled out by Liverpudlian Jon Routledge.
In rugby Falkirk RFC took an away win at Dumfries 10-16. Grangemouth were handed a walk-over 28-0 win at home to Madras but in a friendly match, the Stags ran out 67-3.
On Friday night Fury were winners over Boroughmuir Blaze basketball.
