Martyn Corrigan has told his players they should thrive when they take to the pitch at Ibrox on Saturday and not feel intimdated.
Stenhousemuir take on Glasgow giants and league leaders Rangers in a game that most neutral observers will expect Ally McCoist’s men to win, given their free-scoring start to the season
But Corrigan has other ideas and insists that his side - who have enjoyed their own strong start to the new campaign - will be travelling along the M8 in confident mood.
“We approach every game in the same manner - regardless of the opposition, we’ll be looking to get three points,” he said. “We’re reasonably sure of how Rangers will be set up, how they’ll come at us and we’ve been preparing accordingly.
“Rangers obviously have the size of budget that could keep every other club in the league going for the whole season, but that doesn’t worry me.
“We have to ensure that we focus and don’t give the ball away cheaply. We’ll score goals if we keep to our game plan. I’m sure it will be an exciting game to watch”
Stenhousemuir have an almost-full squad to choose from, with only absentee being David Rowson.
