Tam Scobbie could be the latest Academy graduate to net Falkirk a cash windfall.
The Scotland under-21 cap is poised for a return to the SPL having attracted interest from Kilmarnock and St Mirren.
The switch would net the Bairns a small and much needed windfall as the defender, who took the captain’s armband at the tail end of the season, is still under contract.
Steven Pressley is already planning on defensive re-inforcements with Darren Dods and Grant Munro on his transfer target list but there has been no movement on either this week.
Scobbie came through the Falkirk Academy with Scott Arfield who moved to Huddersfield Town last summer.
The midfielder could hand Falkirk another wad of cash a year on.
Part of his sale included fees should Huddersfield gain promotion to the nPower Championship.
