Grangemouth Stags are making progress on and off the rugby field.
The club lost 41-15 at home to Dunfermline on Saturday in the first pre-season match of the 2013-14 season.
It sees former Falkirk player David Jamieson take charge of first team affairs, and he has some new faces to unveil later this month.
There is also development at the club’s Glensburgh ground where an outdoor sports barn is taking shape, and on schedule to be ready for use in the winter months, ensuring the growing Grangemouth rugby ranks have training throughout the season regardless of the weather.
Coach Jamieson told The Falkirk Herald: “It will make a big difference and will be a really useful resource and facility for the club.
“The youth teams are growing all the time - there’s a great set-up here and this will only benefit it.”
Stags next pre-season match is on Saturday when they welcome Jed-Forest to the port.
The Stags are also taking part in RugbyForce weekend on Saturday and Sunday with suggestions to strim the weeds on the club grounds and filling in holes in the clubhouse car park. Club subsrciptions are also now due.
