Kelpies rugby teams make debut
Boys from Kelpies Rugby S1, S2 and under 16 teams visited Montrose on Sunday in the first fixture in their short history.
Falkirk, Grangemouth and Hillfoots joined together this summer to form Kelpies Rugby, with the idea being to provide local boys and girls a pathway from the bottom through to senior rugby.
Kelpies U16 team started on a high with a convincing 32-72 win over the host side. The Kelpies S1 and S2 (right), despite playing some excellent rugby, lost by eight tries to three.
Kelpies Rugby train at 6pm on Tuesdays at Grangemouth Rugby Club and 6pm Thursdays at Falkirk Rugby Club.
Kelpies Rugby will play their first ever home fixture against Kirkcaldy at 11am this Sunday.
