Wet and wintery weather played havoc with the local sports card last weekend – and the clean-up could continue to blight this weekend’s fixtures.

Grangemouth Stags put on a brave face after their Glensburgh pitch was flooded by Storm Ciara.
In a series of light-hearted tweets the club has raised a smile offering games of ‘water rugby’ at the ground near the Forth Canal adding ‘it’s a bit like water polo except you get a bit mucky in the end’.
Stags are due to host Alloa at the ground on Saturday with Falkirk RFC also scheduled to host Dumfries Saints at Sunnyside. Kick off at both games is 3pm.
