The Grangemouth native recently appeared on episode two of Men in Kilts: A Roadtrip with Sam and Graham to give the shows titular hosts a crash course in the heavies.

The documentary series follows Outlander stars Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish as they travel across Scotland, exploring the countries heritage and culture.

For Randalls, appearing on camera is nothing new having previously featured in Netflix documentary series Home Game, Amazon documentary The Heavies and ITV hit Gordon, Gino & Fred’s Road Trip to name just a few.

He said: “It might sound daft but I don't really enjoy the limelight, I like doing it to promote the games.

"The biggest thing I hope to get out of it is that people watching it will be inspired to go to a Highland Games.

"At the moment though it’s frustrating because they are getting so much publicity but can’t capitalise on it.”

Randalls added that Heughan and McTavish were both great to work with and the Hollywood stars are welcome back anytime for a throw.

"Both were brand new and genuinely interested in the Games,” explained Randalls.

"They're a pair of great lads and hopefully will be along to a Highland Games once they are able to.

"I’ve also offered them my services if they’re ever interested in picking up the hammer or the caber.”
