Local football clubs are helping the governing bodies prepare for the game’s return after the coronavirus lockdown and shutdown of sport.

Sub-groups have been drawn up by the Joint Response Group of the Scottish Professional Football league, the Scottish Football Association and the Scottish Government to plan the resumption of games and sport.

The groups are continuing to abide by the social distancing remit issued from the Government and will continue to plan with the game out of action until at least June 10. Football was suspended on March 13 with no play north of the border since.
