Young Falkirk fans coaching day postponed in coronavirus precaution

Organisers said that the latest training day with the players, where the first-team Falkirk treat young supporters to some football skills drills on the main pitch, had been called off.

The Easter holiday event was due to take place on Tuesday, April 14.

Junior Bairns chief Sarah Scott has written to members of the supporters club to deliver the bad news.

She said: “After discussing this with the club it has regrettably been agreed that the Easter coaching is now cancelled.

“New memberships are due in July and I shall write advising you when you can come to our re-joining day.

“In the meantime, stay safe and thank you as always for your support. Thank you also to all my lovely volunteers, Falkirk players and staff, we will see you again soon.”

Youngsters had previously enjoyed the skills school and autograph session during the Christmas period.
