Syngenta return for ex-chairman and cup winning football coach Johnston

An award-winning coach and club stalwart is back involved in youth football at Syngenta Juveniles.

Davie Johnston, former Club chair and multi-title and cup winning coach has rejoined Syngenta and will take on the head coach role at the 2009s age group.

After a coaching hiatus Davie’s appointment comes following the retirement of coach Richard Sinclair and he’s looking forward to the challenge.

He told the club website that he “was thoroughly enjoying being back and can’t wait for matches to start.”

He added: “I’m delighted to be joined on the coaching side by Ally Penman, Ben Preston and Karen 
Docherty and really happy team secretary Julie Wilson will continue the great job she does”.
