The Warriors signed 19 year old Partick midfielder Lee Gallacher last Saturday morning and the youngster was immediately drafted in for the game against Stirling Albion.
“He showed some nice touches, “manager Scott Booth said, “He is a player we have been looking at and I was impressed with him when I saw him last week in Partick’s 20s team.
“Originally it was going to be a loan deal, but they were releasing some players last Friday and Lee was happy to take a free and sign for us permanently.
“He is a player we will try to develop and improve as the season continues and the deal suits all parties.”
Not so good news for the Ochilview faithful, however, is that midfielder Tom Walsh has been called back to Rangers following his loan period with Muir, “Tom was excellent for us and he will be missed,” Booth admitted.
Fellow loan signing Gary Oliver has also returned to his parent club, Hearts, already.
Meanwhile, midfielder Ryan Millar has been loaned out to top junior club Hurlford for the rest of this term and goalie Dean Shaw has joined Camelon on a similar basis.
