Another local manager will face the Scottish Football Association’s disciplinary proceedings.
Steven Pressley has already been served with notice of disciplinary proceedings for his half-time outburst at the Communities Cup semi-final, and Davie Irons is also facing a Hampden summons.
The Warriors boss was sent to the stands following Ross McMillan’s ninth minute red-card against Dumbarton.
Irons has been included in the referee’s report which will be passed to the SFA’s compliance officer to initiate action.
If a case is to be heard, the compliance officer will write to Irons at Ochilview with a date for a disciplinary hearing - likely to be called in early March.
Steven Pressley’s date is next Thursday, February 24.
But both managers have come out fighting.
Pressley has admitted he is “not proud” of his outburst but is expected to appeal any sanction for directing his anger at ref Euan Norris.
And although saying at the weekend he would pose questions of the disciplinary chiefs, Irons is unlikely to attempt to overturn any action with an appeal.
“I said nothing to the ref, but what I’ll do is to go up in front of the SFA to ask for an explanation of the decisions.”
