Stenhousemuir have added a second new signing to their squad as the club looks to build on Saturday’s win against Forfar Athletic.
Attacking midfielder Jamie Reid was set to complete his move to the Ochilview club on loan from Dundee as The Falkirk Herald went to press last night (Wednesday) and will go straight into the squad for the match against Stranraer.
Reid (18) will become the Warrior’s second signing since the opening of the January transfer window, joining veteran midfielder David Rowson, who signed on an initial 28-day loan deal last week.
Corrigan said: “Jamie will give us an extra option in the midfield and should link up well with David.”
As he waits on the deal to sign Reid to be finalised, Corrigan also revealed that he was unhappy with national coverage of the 2-0 victory against Forfar.
He said: “I prefer to read a report of what actually happened in the game, instead of comments from the away team about how they were supposedly the better side.
“We thoroughly deserved the win. We’ve had a poor run of results so I was delighted.”
John Gemmell is still injured, but Corrigan hopes the striker will return to training within two weeks.
