There are unlikely to be any fresh faces in the Stenhousemuir team that takes on East Fife on Saturday.
Manager David Irons introduced debutants Eric Paton and Lewis Sloan for the 1-0 home defeat against Forfar Athletic last weekend, but says he does not expect to add to that list.
Irons had also been chasing former Clyde winger Adam Strachan who featured as a trialist before the transfer window shut, though was not involved in last week’s game.
However Irons admits the book on deals is now, in all probability, shut.
“As a manager you are never entirely satisfied with what you have,” he said. “But now that the transfer window is closed the only way we would bring anyone else in is either on loan or if we moved someone out to make way for them. With that in mind, I would say our business is probably complete.
“I would like to thank the board for playing their part in bringing some new players to the club. They have made the budget available and I don’t want to do anything that would put that budget under any strain.”
