On Saturday, a Scotland under-23s side beat Panama 2-0 with Rangers midfielder Kerr playing the full ninety minutes. Hibs’ Eddie also came off the bench for the final half an hour.

In Monday night’s match against Venezuela, fellow Rangers star Docherty and national team stalwart played the full ninety as the Scots won 2-1.

Boss Losa said of the trip: “This camp was really important. We leave here alive. We are close to our best. I really believe that.”
