The 22-year old stopper made his Bairns debut as a substitute early in the season against Forfar Athleitc when Robbie Mutch was sent off.

After that the young stopper held down the starting berth for a run of eight games which included a penalty save in the 2-2 draw with Partick Thistle at Firhill.

Recently though he has dropped back down to the bench with gaffers Lee Miller an David McCracken against favouring Mutch.

A statement from the club read: “Falkirk Football Club can confirm that PJ Morrison has been recalled from his loan spell by Motherwell FC.

"Everyone at Falkirk FC would like to wish PJ all the best for the future.”

The Bairns are now likely to make moves to find another keeper to compete with Mutch but may find it difficult with chairman Gary Deans confirming they wont be 'splashing cash’ this month.
