In years gone by they’d have been promoted, but there were still cautious celebrations at full-time to mark the end of an excellent league campaign.

As is usual for the final home game of the season, the players paraded around the pitch to thank fans for their support throughout the season, and both chairman Doug Henderson and captain David McCracken spoke to the crowd urging their added backing for the play-off push which begins next Tuesday at either Easter Road or Stark’s Park.
