Opposition view: Pars boss James McPake has his say

Dunfermline boss James McPake has given his say ahead of today’s derby clash between the Bairns and the Pars.

Speaking to club media, he said ahead of the match: “We are looking forward to it. It has been a good week for us after a good win at the weekend.

"The last match was a good advert for the league and it was an entertaining match.

"We want to take the game to them – there is a big three points up for grabs but that is all it is.

"Paul Allan will be back which is a big boost for us. He has been excellent and he will be in the squad.

"Derby matches are great and we will have a big backing following us.

"I see the way the players train every day and I think the fans can see what they are putting into these matches.

"The backing has been amazing and probably a little surprising in a good way.”
