New keeper PJ Morrison to remain with Falkirk for now

The 22-year old only joined the Bairns earlier this month and made his debut in last Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Forfar Athletic following Robbie Mutch’s red card.

However, Stephen Robinson acted quickly to secure a loan deal of his own to bring in Scotland international stopper Jordan Archer from English Championship side Milwall meaning they did not need to recall Morrison.

Speaking on Motherwell FC's official website, Robinson said: “We had a decision whether to bring someone else in or bring back PJ Morrison from his loan at Falkirk.

“Given that PJ is likely to play for them this weekend and stake a claim for a regular spot, we felt it was best for his development to remain there.”
