Lowland League announce conclusion of 2020/21 season with final standings declared
The 2020/21 Scottish Lowland League season has been concluded with final league positions determined on a points per game system.
That means that Kelty Hearts have been declared champions for the second season in a row and will represent the league in the pyramid play-offs with the Highland League Champions and SPFL club 42 later this year.
A decision is yet to be made on relegation.
A statement from league officials said: “Nine clubs wrote to say they supported this recommendation.
"Three clubs expressed a preference for the season to be declared null and void.
"This constitutes a majority of clubs in favour of the recommendation.”
The final league table sees East Stirlingshire finish fifth with an average 2.17 points from their 12 matches.
Bo’ness United finish seventh with 1.8 average points from their ten league matches.
