The result saw the Bairns slip to third place behind Hibernian - who won 3-1 against St Mirren - but maintained their proud record of having only lost to the Easter Road men and leaders Rangers in the league this season.

And it should be remembered that the Ibrox side also dropped points at Energy Assets Arana earlier this term.

But the second half was only six minutes old when Liam Buchanan struck the leveller..

Paul Watson, Blair Alson and Kevin O’Hara all went close for the Bairns but they couldn’t find a winner.
