The Bairns forward limped out of The Falkirk Stadium on Saturday evening and a scan on Sunday showed no ankle damage.

However it did highlight a fracture in the foot which medical experts have dated as more than 12 years old.

Peter Houston explained: “The X-ray was clear but he’s been in ‘moon-boot’ for a few days because of an old fracture which came up.

“It’s an old fracture which hasn’t bothered Myles but it still showed up on the X-ray.

“He could be a couple of weeks out – but only as a result of the sore ankle he picked up in the challenge on Saturday – not his foot.”
