We’re ready to go at The Falkirk Stadium as both sides take to the park for the resumption of League One business.

Falkirk seeing a lot of the ball early on as they press high on Montrose. Callumn Morrison looking dangerous down the right.

Falkirk remain camped out inside the Montrose half as the visitors struggle to break into the game. Morrison’s deep cross only lacked a finish at the back post.

The hosts have the lead. Montrose unable to clear their lines from a corner and Mark Durnan heads home the opening goal.

Falkirk’s opening has lit a fire under the visitors who are now very much in the game and enjoying a good spell in attack themselves.

The game is going through a bit of a lull after a pretty frantic opening. Blair Alston has tried his luck from range with an effort which sailed over Lennox’s bar.

There’s no doubt Falkirk came out the traps much the quickest and grabbed a deserved early goal. From there, though, it’s been much more even and Montrose are posing a threat in attack.

The Bairns lead at half time thanks to Mark Durnan’s early opener. Still all to play for.

Back underway at the Falkirk Stadium. No changes for either side.

51: Marvellous Morrison

Really impressed with Callumn Morrison today. Every time he gets the ball he’s so direct and causing all sort of problems. Mo defence have no answers other than to bring him down.

Falkirk made a flying start to the first half but it’s the visitors who look much the better at the beginning of the second. Stewart Petrie’s side have had a couple of penalty claims turned down.

67: Chance Montrose!

Robbie Mutch saves from Russell McLean as Montrose press for an equaliser. Falkirk are having to defend deep.
