Falkirk have announced the signing of young goalkeeper Matthew Connelly on a short-team loan deal from Scottish Premiership outfit Motherwell.
The Wishaw-born custodian, 17, has won one cap for the Scotland under-16 squad, against Australia in January last year.
A statement on Falkirk’s website says that the keeper goes into the Bairns’ first-team squad ahead of their first taste of competitive action this season away to Dunfermline in the Betfred Cup tomorrow, kicking off at 7.45pm.
