Falkirk certainly delivered when the football club dropped off food packs and essentials to elderly and vulnerable households this week.

Supported by donations from club partners Hogan’s Fine Food, Mrs Tilly’s, Behind the Wall, Early Till Late (Love’s) and Patrick’s of Camelon a band of Bairns officials created and delivered the packs to doors around the district backed by transport from Tayforth Travel.Club director Kieran Koszary said the first day of deliveries was a “tough but rewarding” day. He added: “Our fantastic partners and amazing staff helped deliver food packages to our senior Bairns, the Blind Club and some of our matchday volunteers who are very special to us.“We wanted to show them they mean a lot and help them in these unprecedented times and we were delighted to be able to give back – we cannot wait to have them all back at The Falkirk Stadium.”

“There were a few tears as well as laughs but it was a day when I was so proud of our club, our people, our community and our staff.“A big thank you to everyone involved in the effort from all of us at the club.”FALKIRK FC can offer assistance and support within the community for any essential day-to-day activities.
