Former Falkirk, Rangers and Kilmarnock keeper Cammy Bell retires

Former Falkirk keeper Cammy Bell has announced his retirement from football.

The 34-year old spent the first half of last season at The Falkirk Stadium before leaving in February to join up with former Bairns gaffer Ray McKinnon at League 2 side Queen’s Park.

The Dumfries born stopper started out his career with Kilmarnock in 2006, making over 100 appearances for the Ayrshire side over six year spell.

He joined Rangers in 2013 and was with the Ibrox club for three seasons.

He then went on to turn out for Dundee United, Hibs, Partick Thistle, St Johnstone and first club Kilmarnock again before fidning his way to the Falkirk Stadium in 2019.

Bell also earned one cap for Scotland in the 2010 European Championship qualifiers against the Czech Republic.
