Former Falkirk defender Jackie McNamara ‘on right road’ after health scare
The 46-year-old collapsed at home in England and was taken to hospital with a bleed on the brain in February.
But tonight he has posted a video through Consilium Sports Group thanking well-wishers for overwhelming support during his ‘health scare’.

Hide AdWith one more operation to go Bairns fans, who saw McNamara help the club to the 2009 Scottish Cup final before embarking on a managerial career at Partick Thistle, will be delighted to see his on-going recovery in the two-minute clip.
McNamara said: “I’d like to thank everyone for their message of support and the paramedics who helped save my life and got me to hospital and the neurosurgeons who performed the operations when I had my brain haemorrhage.
“I’m recovering from that and I’m on the right road. I don’t know when my operation will be but I’m getting back to work now, which is great.
“It was such an overwhelming experience seeing all the messages of people praying for me. It really helped me through a difficult period.
