With the help of Falkirk FC historian Michael White, sports editor David Oliver took a look at the Bairns who helped the Reds - and some Reds who helped the Bairns!
And some of the links are more tenuous than others… but the local area and club has supplied some key figures at Anfield over the years.
5. Jim Harrower
The attacking midfielder made the step to senior football from Bo'ness moving to Hibs then on to Liverpool. After 96 games he headed north to Newcastle then the Bairns for a season. Photo: Unknown
