Falkirk v Cove Rangers - As it happened

That’s the last action of an exciting half.

Falkirk were on top for the first 30 minutes but Cove were by far the better team for the last 15.

The visitors are unlucky not to be 2-1 up with Megginson hitting the post just before the break.

For Falkirk, better sings than in the last two matches. Gary Miller has found is voice again, Blair Alston is going box to box and being combative, Morrison is coming off his wing to pretty good effect and Scott Mercer is look far more composed than he did against Peterhead or Airdrie.

It begs the question though, where has this been for the last few weeks?

Poor, poor penalty from Leighton McIntosh. It’s low, soft and not even near the corner and Mutch gets down to hold it comfortably.

Callumn Morrison twists and turns inside the area before absolutely blootering a shot over the bar from 10 yards at an angle.

Chance after chance for the visitors not being taken.

A corner in to the box isn't cleared and Seb Ross volleys it at goal, he hits it sweetly and it comes off the inside of Robbie Mutch’s left hand post, comes flying at the Bairns keeper who reacts to push it away before the defence clear.
