Falkirk rank higher than 114-year Scottish Cup wait for Hibs boss
The third-place side made ground on the Bairns in the Championship last night with a 3-2 win over league winners Rangers. It moved Stubbs’ side to within three points of Falkirk who still hold a superior goal difference but have played a game more.
When asked of the relevance of last night’s win against Rangers, who they will face again in the Scottish Cup final next month, Stubbs was focussed on other matters and league business.

Hide AdReferring to catching Falkirk he said: “We’ve got bigger fish to fry between now and May 21. We’ve got a lot more important games coming up.
“We’ll look forward to that day when it comes round but [Wednesday night] was all about us getting three points and finishing as high as we possibly can.”
Falkirk face Raith Rovers on Saturday at 5.15pm with the match live on BBC Alba. By that stage Hibs could be level with the Bairns on points, or even leapfrog Peter Houston’s side – but that would require a winning margin of seven or more goals over Morton.
Space still remains on a few supporters’ buses heading to Starks Park. Check the supporters notes in today’s edition of The Falkirk Herald for more details.
