Falkirk legends to mark 30th anniversary of title win with special online event

Tickets are now on sale for a special event to mark the 30th anniversary of Falkirk’s 1991 First Division title win.

“Back to the Fortress” on May 14 will see squad members reminisce about that famous season with proceeds going to the Chris Mitchell Foundation and Falkirk Football Heritage Trust.

Hosted by John McInally of the Football Daft podcast, Bairn’s legends Crawford Baptie, Derek McWilliams, Peter Hetherston and Sammy McGivern will be joining the webinar which will also feature clips from Gordon Marshall, Jim Jefferies, Billy Brown and captain Simon Stainrod.

Event organiser Dave McInally said: “It promises to be a great night with some great stories.

"Behind the Wall are doing a takeaway pizza deal on the night called “The Stainrod” which will also go towards the Chris Mitchell foundation and fans will be able to send in questions.”
