The Bairns’ defender says they will focus only on themselves and winning every game as they pursue the League 1 title.

Speaking after last Saturday’s 3-0 win over Peterhead, the 33-year old said: “It was good three points coming off the Clyde defeat and what was a decent point at Raith, it was good to get back to winning ways.

“We wen’t out fully focused to get all three points and that’s what we will be looking to do in all of our remaining games.

“At the end of the day, like we have done all season, we will focus on ourselves and make sure we get our three points.

“That’s all we can do and as long as we’ve done that we’ve done our job.

“For the rest of the games that are left we will be fully focused, the gaffers will have us well prepared to get three points every week if we can.”

The former Dundee United player also pointed to the experience through out the Falkirk side as being likely to have a big impact on the run-in.

“The experience in the team helps, there are some younger boys in the team who haven’t been in this type of situation, to be honest I haven’t really been in this type of situation in my career, but I can still draw on my experience of how to manage a game.

“You’ve got Lee Miller coming on, using his experience, winning headers and free kicks and getting us up the park.

“Our back four has great experience as well and we also have Cracks on the sidelines who has played many games in his career and can pass his experience on to us.”

Falkirk’s next league match comes this Saturday, March 14, as they make the trip to the Rock to take on Jim Duffy’s Dumbarton.
