Two late Queen of the South goals sunk Falkirk in a drenched surroundings of Palmerston Park.
The brace, from substitute Gavin Reilly, knocked Falkirk from their perch at the top of the SPFL Championship.
But Gary Holt told the press afterwards that the team was “hurting in the right way.”
Bairns’ midfielder Mark Millar was carried off after a quarter of an hour, but the manager later revealed the ankle knock was not as bad as first feared.
