TV showdown for Falkirk and the ex-Bairns of Dunfermline

The Betfred Cup match with Dunfermline will be Falkirk’s first away trip of the season and has been selected for broadcast on Premier Sports.

It will pit Falkirk against some former players like Declan McManus, Kevin O’Hara and Paul Watson.

And Miller said: “It’s a great one for the fans and the derby is a cracker – I’m not surprised it’s on the television.

“The players will look forward to it too. We’ll see a couple old players.

“There’s a lot of history between the two clubs. Will it be the same without fans? Their reactions to decisions spurs the players on.

“You need to create your own atmosphere but we’ll have the boys geared up for it no matter what.”
