Falkirk defeated Ross County in a convincing 2-1 win at Westfield on Tuesday afternoon.
The under-20s match also included David McCracken, the experienced defender making a return from injury and his first appearance in a navy blue shirt.
And it was a winning debut for the new Bairn as goals from Kris Faulds and Lewis Small delivered another three points to the youths.
Falkirk included first-team fringe players Craig Sibbald, Rakish Bingham, Luke Leahy, Robbie McNab and Thomas Grant, plus Small and McCracken who were returning from injury.
But it was another player who has had a taste of first-team action who gave them the lead.
They were well worthy of it when Faulds netted from Leahy’s lay-off.
After recovering from a disclocated shoulder and subsequent surgery, Lewis Small also found the net before half-time.
Ryan Blair was particularly impressive on the left-side, as was Craig Sibbald in the midfield, all marshalled by David McCracken at the back.
But the Bairns conceded to Steven Ross on 51 minutes and should have extended their lead when a Small effort was ruled out - after a debate - for offisde and Rakish Bingham hit the upright from six yards out.
County’s Callum McDonald was taken off late on after injuring his arm, before team-mate Marc Klok was eventually booked after a running battle with Thomas Grant for most of the game.
