Hibs dominated possession in the first half of Saturday’s William Hill Scottish Cup semi-final against Falkirk.
But the Bairns held out well.
Old Falkirk favourite Farid El Alagui went close with an early header which Jamie MacDonald gathered on the goal-line while Fraser Fyvie rattled the post with a powerful strike.
Will Vaulks went closest for Falkirk with a 25-yard drive which was deflected out for a corner.
But the sides went into the interval scoreless.
