Hide AdRumours swept town last night after The Falkirk herald revealed four names were on the club’s shortlist.
Ian McCall was a popular choice among fans on social media and suggestions of the former boss and captain Mark Kerr forming the new regime gathered apace.
That resulted in McCall sweeping to the top of bookies’ shortlists, however reports in the national press have distanced both the Ayr United manager and the previous bookies’ favourite Jim McIntyre from the role.
The Bairns have called a press conference today, however it is the routine weekly calling with Gordon Young preparing to look ahead to the weekend’s match at Ross County.
