In the absence of football Falkirk are dishing out their monthly player award to local heroes in the community and the first went to former player Erin (23) in recognition of her efforts and all the staff in the intensive care unit at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

She was nominated for her work during the Covid-19 pandemic by partner Jack Wilson and the additional support she has given patients by collecting donations of hygiene products to provide the essentials for those affected.

On behalf of the club I would like to thank Erin and all the staff at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, we are all extremely proud of them”

Award sponsor Stuart Comrie of Verifier Security added: “Going beyond her day to day duties and the collection of personal items for her patients is what makes Erin and her colleagues our ‘Local Heroes’.
